He went on to long passages and tunnels, so you may see stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years, in the silence of a mysterious nature only inhabited by bats (which hovered indifferent between the heads of disbelief and a bit 'scared observers in a row Indian) and spiders in their webs waiting for prey on. Caves and chasms, and even an underground lake, everything was a source of admiration and respect for nature as "artistic"! After the interesting and informative tour of nearly a mile in the tunnels and into the bowels of the mountain, stop for lunch was a duty. So, the restaurant "Al Boschetto, known for its authentic cuisine and mushrooms, the gay group has been able to enjoy a hearty lunch of antipasto, pasta with mushrooms and meat dishes of veal cooked in the oven Wood, lamb, potato and salad, and, in closing, fruit and dessert is caffè.Sulla way back, a brief stop in Montecassino, unfortunately interrupted by a sudden rain, but nevertheless allowed the visit of the cloister and Abbey.
